Postcard Set by Alison Owen

Limited edition set of digitally printed postcards by Alison Owen. Originally made using watercolor, sharpie and pencil on paper, commemorating objects she sees and loves in the world. Each set contains eleven 4x6 inch cards.

Alison Owen is a multimedia artist based in Poughkeepsie, NY. Using various mediums including stoneware, handmade paper, watercolor, pencil, and found pages from art history books, she creates mixed media ceramics, paintings and collages that hover between two and three dimensions. Her work often weaves in themes of motherhood and feminine inclusion and draws attention to interior space, interior life, the life of objects, and the stories they hold.
