"Shelf Life" is a body of work by artist and designer Laurene Leon Boym that unleashes the magic of ordinary objects. Focusing on packaged goods, she portrays their poetic essence - the colors, energy, and off-handed beauty - through drawings on wooden box panels and three-dimensional constructions positioned halfway between drawings and sculpture. Here, familiar packages are reinterpreted as impressionistic spatial drawings filled with transparent color and light.
