Deadweight Tripod Lamp by David Weeks

One-of-a-kind floor lamp by New York designer David Weeks for the 2024 Nuts & Bolts exhibition at Available Items. Edition of one.

Light socket and three fiberglass driveway markers held together with an electrical conduit trapping ring. Tripod legs held open with drain stopper and shaft collars. Dead weight pendulum hangs from stopper with grounding wire and aluminum crimps. The light shade is a “Gutter Getter” leaf scoop in a blaze orange. Lamp comes with a dimmer.
