'Open Space I' - an abstract outdoor sculpture by Catskill artist Tristan Fitch - is now on view in the backyard of our store.
Fitch's sculptures are inspired by the geometry of a skyline, the silhouette of rooftops, and how the intersections at tall buildings create a form in the negative space. Each piece is the physical manifestation of these angular spaces of sky – the spaces between – and can be oriented in multiple positions, creating a different sculpture depending on its orientation.
